Farewell to Hallie and Truman

The hardest part of being a breeder is that you can't keep ALL the dogs. I love them all so much, and it is hard to know when to let go. Our sweet Hallie is 6 years old and the Mom of Truman and Gracie. Truman has been raised with his Mom and they are like 2 peas in a pod! When Truman was bred to Savannah, they produced a beautiful litter of puppies for us and we are keeping the young pup Franklin, from this litter to show and breed. We made the decision to retire Hallie early in the new year, and then decided that she and Truman would be happiest if placed together. So we found a wonderful home for the pair in Mt. Juliet and they went to live with their new family this week. They now have a Mom, Dad, dog and cat to keep them company! Word from the new homeplace is that Truman is quite the rodent catcher. Not only does he love birds, but has now developed into quite the mole chaser! We miss our sweet Tri-babies, but we know they are in very capable and loving hands. Farewell sweet Hallie and Truman, we love you always.
