Summer 2011

This Summer has been full of celebration! We had a wedding on the farm at the end of May, and 2 of our friends had babies. "Jack" made his entrance into the world in June, and "Abby" followed in July.

Shane's Mom came for a visit , and we attended the grand re-opening of the Historic Franklin Theater! Shane's BackYard Bible Clubs were a huge success, the garden is doing very well and the Cicadas are finally starting to die off!

If you don't know what Cicadas are, they are little beetle-ish bugs that show up in mass every 13 years, and it feels a bit like a Biblical plague! I do love the sound they make, people think I'm crazy, but I could sit on my porch for hours and listen to them.
