Beach Vacation with Dogs to Pawley's Island, SC

Here's something I thought we would never get to do...take our dogs on the beach. It is forbidden at the Florida beaches I grew up on, but not in South Carolina!

Just after the Tri Star Kennel Club show, Shane and I bravely set out in the RV with our 6 dogs, headed to the beach at Pawley's Island, SC. Our friend Cindy recently relocated there and we wanted to spend some time with her and relax at the beach with the dogs. Her house is well suited for dogs, they have their own entrance, room and yard! She has 3 elderly cavaliers that I am quite sure were not so happy about our crew converging on them for a week.

We took the dogs in pairs to enjoy time at the beach. Madison and Gracie loved it the most! Our vacation consisted of sleeping, watching movies and eating a lot. Not much different from the dog's vacation!

Our trip was not without drama, breaking down on the interstate and a trip to the ER with one of the dogs definitely made it challenging, but we all survived and one day we might even be brave enough to try again. For now, we will enjoy being home, safe and sound.
