I can remember like it was yesterday bringing my little girl home! It was October 2004, and it was one of the happiest days of my life! I was adding a "little sister" to the family! We brought Raleigh, our first Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, home in May and went back to get his little sister that Fall. He needed a playmate, and WE needed her more than we ever imagined! She stole our heart from the moment we saw her! Now our pet family was complete...so we thought!

Savannah was the beginning of a friendship and business partnership with Cindy DeLoache at DeLwood Cavaliers. We decide to show Savannah and breed her when the time was appropriate. Cindy was excited to mentor us through the process. We had a great time showing Savannah and had 2 litters with her. 8 families have part of the legacy Savannah left behind. Oliver, Starbuck, Franklin, Ollie, Belle, JJ, Crosby and Tucker.

She loved to chase light and butterflies, and she hated fireworks, could jump up on anything and she would move Heaven and Earth to get into your lap! That was my Savannah. A priceless treasure. I miss her every single day, and I am so thankful to have Franklin, her first born son living with me. He is a constant reminder of her sweet gentle spirit and her persistent, loving way.

Thank you Lord for the gift of her life and for entrusting me with her for 7 years. She changed my life in every way possible, for the better.

Savannah woke up in Heaven on the morning of July 14, 2011. We made a beautiful "Joy Garden" in our front field for her. We surrounded her with butterfly bushes and light catchers, and scriptures of Joy. She brings beauty to the farm, even now.
